We are Alisha & Jacob Delahoussaye, both Louisiana natives, who met at a farm conference in Arkansas, before either of us had ever worked on a farm. After working on other farms across the Southeastern U.S. for several years after college, we returned to Lafayette to establish Blazing Star Farm LLC in 2016.

Blazing Star Farm is a cut-flower and vegetable farm located in Sunset, Louisiana. We grow seasonal flowers and vegetables using organic & sustainable practices. Blazing Star Farm sells flowers & vegetables at the Lafayette Farmers and Artisans Market & to local restaurants, provides a flower bouquet CSA in Lafayette & designs for small events in the Lafayette area. The support of dedicated customers, family & friends continues to renew our excitement and passion for growing in Louisiana. We are glad to be home.
